To ensure that your account is no longer billed for services, you must fully decommission your resources within the JetRails AutoPilot platform. This process involves a two-step approach: first, deleting individual deployments and then removing the organization itself once all assets have been cleared.
Note: To prevent any future recurring charges, the organization must be deleted.
Step 1: Delete Your Deployments
Before an organization can be removed, all associated deployments must be deleted.
Sign in to your account dashboard at autopilot.jetrails.com.
Select the relevant Organization from your dashboard.
Select the specific Deployment you wish to remove.
If the deployment is hibernating the deployment must be taken out of hibernation before it can be deleted.
Click on the Settings tab in the deployment navigation bar.
Scroll down to the Delete Deployment section.
Enter the Deployment Name (e.g.,
muddy-frog-373) in the confirmation text box exactly as it appears.Click the Delete button.
Step 2: The 7-Day Asset Retention Period
After clicking delete, the deployment will move into a "Retired" state.
Asset Retention: Some deployment assets are retained for 7 days after the initial deletion request.
Prerequisite: You cannot delete the organization until these 7 days have passed and all assets for all deployments have been completely removed by the system.
Step 3: Delete the Organization
Once all deployment assets have been fully removed (after the 7-day period), you can proceed to delete the organization to end all recurring charges.
Select the Organization Name in the top navigation bar to return to the organization overview.
Select the Settings tab located in the organization-level menu.
Scroll down to the Delete Organization section.
Ensure that no other resources depend on this organization.
Enter the Organization Name (e.g.,
shovelpact.com) in the confirmation text box.Select Delete.
The organization is now removed, and all recurring billing for this entity will cease.
