Introduction
In some cases, we may identify bugs or performance enhancements that can be applied to existing AutoPilot deployments. This is applied via our patching system.
Before patches can be applied, you must specify a 3-hour maintenance window. Patches will be performed within this window, and typically only take a few minutes to apply.
Maintenance Window
In the Settings tab of your AutoPilot deployment, you can set a 3-hour maintenance window. The maintenance window is displayed in your local timezone. Choose a start time from the drop-down and select Save:
Some patches may require a brief downtime or service restart, so your maintenance window should be set to a period when your deployment has the least traffic or active users.
Once a maintenance window is set, you can approve (✓) or deny (✗) patches. When a patch is approved, it will be marked as Pending:
The patch will then be applied on your next maintenance window. You can also click the Patch number on the left side for further details about the patch.
Once the patch is complete, the interface will update to show this.
